Darlings, it's that time again~

Are your fic pet peeves the same as the last time?

Do we still hate banners?
Do we still hate self-insert fics?
Is mpreg still as disgusting as ever?
Are pronouns still sons of bitches?
Should Mary Sues get burned in a fire?

Bring it, I'm curious!

I still hate banners with a passion that is unhealthy. I don't mind them on the TH fic site for some reason, but on lj, it makes my eyes twitch and my hands itching for murder. I skip all fics with banners xD

I still hate mpreg. I can mention two mpreg fics I have enjoyed, nd that was because of the writing being so excellent. But mpreg turns me off like whoa.

I also go in a huge circle of avoidance around OC fics, because they are almost always Mary Sues. It makes me sad ;;__;;

When the summary is longer than the fics LOL

So what will it be? :D

Ouch, sorry for that, it seems like it has been filtered out from the places I frequent lately. But you're right, the chance of finding a well-made banner is nigh to impossible xD

Self-insert fics happen, even if the writer isn't aware of it. Mostly, it starts with an OC and then the writer starts giving the OC their own traits and that's when things go wrong xD

Lol, they all seem to be made with paint, or something else that produces even worse results. I think i might need to remove the je fic comm from my flist, lol. But yeah, the arashi comm hasn't been getting too many banners lately 8D

aaaand this is why I don't read OC fic XD

lol, and i saw that what, 12 people commented on it. And the chibis in question were even younger than Chinen, wtf.

I've stopped watching all fic comms except Stormwriters, but that's not just because of banners, also the supreme lack of decent fics LOL
