“Hello,” Jun said, following Nino into the room and he was somewhat startled to see the Oraya sitting on the window sill instead of the floor underneath it.
It looked at him, acknowledgment flashing briefly in its eyes before they settled on Nino.
“Music,” it said with its velvety voice and Jun was startled. Nino had told him of its voice, but he was completely unprepared for the smooth and rich quality. His eyes flickered to the guitar cradled in Nino’s arms and watched as Nino nodded.
“Do you want me to play for you?”
The Oraya was silent for long moments until it slowly nodded.
Jun cleared his throat softly. “Before that, is there anything you want? Food? Air?”
The creature didn’t seem surprised that Jun had spoken. It moved its obsidian colored eyes to Jun, and he nearly shivered.
Then it sounded almost amused. “A bath.”
