Need fic help.

If the guys weren't idols, what would Nino, Jun, Aiba and Sho be doing as professions? I already have Ohno planned out, so.

sho would be a struggling journalist, and as aiba has never really been good at school, i think he would be a freeter^^;;
don't know about the other two though, they are harder to imagineXD

being a freeter means you have a jobXD but somehow, even though he loves animals so much, i can't see him working with them in reallife... more like he's having pets at home so he has to rush back home after work everyday because he has to walk the dog?XD that's my impression of aibaXDD

Easy. Aiba would either be taking care of a restaurant or work part time jobs. Jun would definitely be doing some production stuff, like being an AD. Sho would either be a trader or one of those journalist that works for the equivalent of the Wall Street Journal (with help from Daddy, obviously). Nino either composes jingles stuff like you suggested or works in programming, still in a studio.

I already have Aiba as managing a café in Boblemon's fic, though you had no way of knowing that xD And Sho, yes, I do see him as a journalist as well. Jun, though. Hm, actually it would make sense in this fic if he did some AD-stuff.

I think I'll go with Nino doing programming. /brains.

I do see Aiba in a social sort or work. Social worker, after-school establishment, anything along those lines.

And Nino would work in programming, but music stuff? I think apart from video games, programming wouldn't be his cup of tea.

To veer from everyone else's suggestions, I think that Sho would've put his Econ degree to use. Like being a financial consultant or something at a big company. Aiba would've taken over his family's restaurant, I think. Matsujun would either be a struggling actor or working behind the scenes on a stage or set. And Nino would've continued playing baseball until he got injured, and now works as an ordinary salaryman.

hmmm ... I think after not knowing what to do with his life, I kind of like to think that Jun would go night school and work towards something like business administration and coupling that with something like working towards running/owning/managing a store or some sort of design company maybe. Furnishing retail maybe. On the other hand he's quite into the health food thing isn't he. So maybe he'd have some sort of holistic wholefoods shop with a cafe. Or a wedding planner.

Hmmm Nino - could be a store clerk I guess. But I do see him as doing some kind of writing/correspondence work. Something in publications, editing that sort of thing.

Aiba - hmm yes the working with animals thing is hard to shake off. Maybe he'll be like one of these guys .... the late Steve Irwin , or some kind of champion of the wild. A model? He would be at the top of his game and pick the 'World Wildlife Organisation' or some such as an adoptive charity.
Also ... although he is supposed to have struggled at school. I think he'd be good as a Physics/Chemistry/Maths professor.

Ohno - no getting away from the art I'm afraid. A dancer/choreographer, or a stage actor. An art gallery owner. Or ... yes a carpenter. A baker.

Sho - I do agree with the journalistic tendencies. But I think he might want to use his Economics degree and couple it with maybe politics. After the struggling journalist, he'll find fame, push for a cause takes one of either two paths ... becomes lost in the winning at all costs or stays true to the cause in which case, someone decides that he's too dangerous and must be offed. (and yes maybe I have watched too many movies and way to much tv - ahahaha!)

Ok I rambled there long enough at you huh! love and hugs. Hope some of it helps. I has been interesting to see the answers you have received.

Umm... everyone else have their own opinion.
Here's my opinion, though~

Sho > I definitely see him as a journalist or something that have connection with economics thingy.
Nino > dunno why I always have an idea that he'll be a game master/creator when he isn't an idol. Eventhough he loves music so much, dunno why I see that he'll make his hobby as a job to gain money.
Aiba-chan > zoo-keeper or a pet store owner, since he loves animal so much.
Jun > umm... he's kinda hard... I always imagine that he'll work as fashion columnist in a magz.

That's what I thought about them if they're not idol.
And, Rikke-chan... I'll absolutely waiting for your new fic~ ^_____^

I once wrote a fic where Sho was an investment banker, Jun a restaurant owner/cook, Aiba a loafer/pet store employee, Ohno an artist and a gallery co-owner and Nino a con artist. XD Which goes to show you how my mind works. But if you want me to be serious...
Nino could be someone literary - a struggling writer/poet or struggling composer doing whatever he can to keep solvent and to keep trying to get his work noticed and out there.
Sho would use his economics degree and his father's connections to get some kind of government post. A lackey in the Min. of Foreign Affairs, one who advises and drafts speeches and things for diplomats, basically a very stressed paper pusher.
Ohno, I can see being a freeter who works occasionally as a delivery person, maybe at the bakery, and who happens to draw caricatures of people at street corners once a week for pin money and larks.
Aiba would be doing something in his family restaurant. His brother can handle the business side of the restaurant's affairs, but Aiba will be fiddling with things like the menu, creating things in the kitchens, things like that.
Jun could be someone technical or someone in a management position. Petty power would suit him., XD
