Holy fuck, I'm going to be the flailiest flailer that ever flailed on Thursday. Oh my poor heart, how am I going to survive this? I'm going to get my albums signed and askdsjhfsdhfks. There's just no way.

Also, there might be direct correlation between me making everyone suffer in fics and what happens to me, just saying.

I also texted Gati this morning while on painkillers, and the result was hilarious. Crabby Gati is adorable <3

So first of all - I had a brief stint at the ER yesterday because one of the horse literally ran me over at work. Yes, as in "ouch, effing hell that bloody well hurt dammit." Long story short, I landed on my knee (the worst of them) and I tried to break my fall with my (worst) hand, my left, so now my left wrist is sprained yaaaay. Therefore - I put Ohno in hospital in fic = I get hurt. I should just stop writing altogether to spare myself from further bodily harm LOL

Anyway, I got painkillers for my knee, which is swollen to an incredibly impressive double size and my limp is pretty spectacular, regardless. I went to work today and have spent the rest of the day with my leg propped up. Not a bad way  to spend a Sunday, don't you think? Also, the painkillers hadn't worn off completely this morning, which is why Gati had to deal with my giddily annoying chatter in texts = Gati's subconcious is mean, you know?

Oh right, I was going to talk fandoms, yes. PATRICK WOLF OMG. MEETING PATRICK WOLF. I'm going to hyperventilate, then melt, and BFF will have to take me home in a bucket. Ye be warned. If he sings The Gypsy King, I seriously don't know what I'm going to do. Probably cry in elation and being incredibly pathetic all round.

Yeah okay, so I was talking about Johnny's Countdown with a friend the other day, and I'm just thinking of how it'll play out this year. Arashi will be at Kouhaku like last year, Ryo will be with K8 and Pi will probably dick around as usual, probably singing Wan In A Miriyon (I'm not as bitter as I sound, I just think he's a giant dick. I still like him. Kinda. If he sings Daite Senorita, I will cry from laughter). How is NEWS' line up this year? Will Tegoshi and Massu arrive as Tegomass like in 2006/2007 or will they appear with Shige and Koyama? Will Shige and Koyama even appear? I'm pretty sure K8 will host it this year, which I don't particularly care for either way, since they have a ton of potential for being both hilarious/completely fail, but seeing as I practically only watch Countdown to ogle senpai groups and Jrs (read: Machida) I don't really care. I have this bizarre want to have Sho randomly show up at Countdown and sing Seaside Bye Bye with Okada like they did in 2006, because that was gorgeous (and hilarious, with the leather jacket and Sho's pink pants. WARDROBE /snicker). I also want Sakamoto to show up in his Zorro costume. I want Leader in the sweater the rest of TOKIO knitted for him. I want Dots to NOT wear a hat that looks like it's eating him. I want MA singing ;;__;; And I want Matchy to sing Motto, as usual, and I want him to get a bigger applause than usual, because seriously, are the fans deaf? Man can SING. Also, a medley with the old songs from Hikaru Genji would be amazing. Also please to be singing Aishu Date. Please and thank you. Also, Toma? Please to be on my screen.

Yes, I think that's it for my wish list for Countdown this year.
 
Okay, so other fandoms. First of all, one of my friends indirectly caused me to rewatch a ton of Queer As Folk and goddammit, I don't have the time to be so emotionally invested in that fandom again, I can't even. Dammit. Anyway, it's laughably easy to typo Brian as Brain. Remember that if you ever want to write QAF fic! And while on the subject of QAF, did/does any of you watch it? If so, which do you prefer, US or UK?

In any case, I was rewatching S3 to help my friend (she wrote fic, I was told to beta - I was brushing up on my QAF-ology) and I was actually astonished to find so much sympathy for Brian in the whole Justin/Ethan debacle. I mean. I did find sympathy for him the first time I watched it, but more of "he lost Justin", but more for him this time around because of the simple fact that Justin should've known what he was doing with Brian in the first place. That being said, I actually liked Ethan a lot until he turned completely douchey and cheated on Justin and all that jazz. Also, Brian going all "And you're required to never play violin music in my presence again" is just as perfect this time around as the first tim eI heard him say it. Actually just about all the S3 Brian/Justin interactions after that office scene are incredibly sweet and hot, and Brian saying "Let's just say he's the guy I fuck more than once" to which Justin just says (to that stupid guy) "Unlike you." just made the season. However, with the entire Justin/Ethan thing, I'm always kind of floored how many people start hating Michael, but I understand the guy, is the thing. I know why he lashes out, because ouch. I like him ;;__;; /pets. S3 is also known as the season where Justin's hair was perfect all effing season. UNF.

Randomly, but Randy going all "It's EXHAUSTING to film sex scenes, oh my god. We're moaning and grinding and breathing so deeply and harshly.... I'm exhausted after five minutes and we're at it ALL DAY" is just way too hilarious for this world xD Oh Randy, your life is so hard.

Okay, so next fandom: Final Fantasy 8. Yes. Been playing a bit here and there on my brother's PSP for the past few days and I'm so addicted all over again that it's not even funny. If I say I want to write a Glee/FF8 crossover, how many of you are actually surprised? XD /pathetic. Anyway, I just finished the Missile Base/NORG/Fisherman's Horizon plotline, and Cid just declared Squall the new Commander. Jeebus. I can't even, the kid is 17! I mean, Squall is fabulous and all (Hello, seen my username?) and he's dangerous and deadly, but leading the entire Garden? Wtf is up with that? Well, we all know how it's going to play out anyway. Now I'm going to rearrange the stupid concert and have Irvine tap dance, just because it looks hilarious. I also kind of want to make the entire conversation between Squall and Rinoa as uncomfortable and awkward as possible /rubs hands. On the other hand, now I know it's not that long until the whole Galbadia invasion and then it's a trip to space aaaaand. Yeah, I'm always pretty bored until Ragnarok.

Also, I've had the soundtrack on repeat for most of today.

Did any of that make sense? No? ASHAMED OF YOU ALL.

And what's next... GLEE. I'd originally decided on not watching until the season had finished airing, but I've been watching all the eps until now, and holy effing slkhdsfsjkfsjdjshf 3x05. Just. I'm a Klaine shipper and I will go down with this ship. No regrets, just love /derp. I'm so spoiled for the entire episode that I don't even need to watch it, but I'm not ashamed to say that alskdjksfskjdh I'm so excited for this. More boy kissing? BRING IT ON. In fact, here it is.



Everybody, say it with me: AWWWWWW. Yes. Darren, I dare you, look more in love. It's impossible. I have way too many feelings for this ship. This entire Glee flailing section is in honor of Gati.

Oh, and I watched Bunraku! Started out with only buying it because Gackt is in it, but it was actually really good with some really interesting filming going on. So. You know. Watch it.

Hear, hear! I much prefer the British version to any Yankee version. The yanks (no offence to any reading this) don't seem to take dry irony/acerbic wit very well; rather they take it seriously and that causes so much trouble and the uber-PC brigade will march up again.

Well, I've been up on the ghostwriting project, so it evens out. I have no talent for using sewing machines, so kudos to you~ Good luck with the costumes and the in-laws. *hugs*
