“So it talks and walks and is named Satoshi, but it doesn’t speak of itself and doesn’t eat,” Jun said, thoughtfully.

“That about sums it up,” Nino agreed.

“I haven’t been able to find anything about their eating habits,” Aiba frowned. “You’re sure it said that it doesn’t eat?”

“Doesn’t eat this kind of food,” Nino corrected.

Aiba rubbed his chin. “I wish it would talk to me.”

“Have you tried since it talked to Nino?” Jun asked, frowning. “No, right?”

Aiba shook his head. “The last time I went in there, I scared it.”

“It’s a he,” Nino said absentmindedly, still thinking about dark, dark glittering eyes. “Can we stop saying ‘it’?”
