Drabble: Oraya 16
In other news, Technicolor is coming along nicely 8D
And this piece is longer than 15 was, I promise :)

16.
Aiba was whirring with excitement, but Nino was a bit skeptic. The Oraya had been less than inclined to talk to Jun the last time Nino had brought someone else into the room with him, and he hoped that Satoshi would, maybe, talk a bit to Aiba.
He greeted the Oraya with a nod and Aiba walked in behind him, keeping quiet for once.
“Aiba Masaki,” the Oraya said lowly when Aiba bowed, and to his credit, Aiba didn’t look too startled even though Nino knew he was thinking how did he know his name?
“I’ve brought you food,” Nino said, stepping closer and placing the plate in front of the creature. “As long as you won’t tell me what you need to eat, you’ll have to eat this, Satoshi.”
The Oraya wrinkled its nose before tentatively taking some of the bread. “You cannot give me what I need.”
“How do you know that?” Aiba asked, intrigued, and Nino prayed that Satoshi wouldn’t clam up.
“You wouldn’t want to give it to me,” Satoshi corrected, taking a bite of the bread.
“Does it have something to do with your magic?” Aiba continued, eagerly.
The Oraya looked amused. “Humans are so fascinated with magic.”
Humans. The word stuck out sorely in Nino’s thoughts as he processed what Satoshi had said, and he frowned.
“We’re fascinated with what we don’t have or understand,” Aiba returned readily.
“Does that give you the right to hunt and kill us?”
Nino cut in. “Of course not. That’s why Matsumoto-kun brought you here, to make sure you don’t fall into slavery again.”
For the first time since the Oraya had started talking to them, it looked upset. “Imprisoning me here isn’t saving me.”
“Isn’t it better than a life with the gypsies?” Aiba asked, and Nino nearly told him to bite his tongue.
The black eyes glittered almost dangerously. “I’d rather die than stay in here.”

Cold always goes to the head, and when it does, it really kills. x___x It's good that you don't need to go to work. Hope you feel better~ (And yay for Technicolor? 8D)

The cold always goes straight to my head, like the warmth does, and it makes my normal headache evolve into a massive pounding. Well, if I did have work this weekend, I'd be forced to call in sick, because if my head gets too cold, I'll faint and get nauseous in the best case scenario.
Yes, Technicolor Blues is my new project since I promised some people a Yama-pair fic after Ending Credits xD

Oh ouch. X_______X Pounding equals not good. D: Snuggle up with a blanket and drink something warm - make sure you don't get sick! -sends warmth and love over-
Ooh, I await that project. :D Ending Credits was really beautiful. n___n

Technicolor is nothing like Ending credits and won't even go near that length, but I like it, and yes, it's Yama-pair, something I've been craving to write decently for a long time :D

and oh aiba! when will you ever learn about your mouth? :p but oooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! THE PLOT THICKENS! 8D 8D 8D

Aiba needs to stuff it sometimes, but would it be him if he did? And yes, there actually is some plot in this XD

But I do love you, more than anyone else. ♥♥♥
Hey, we should change places! It's freaking hot here in Brazil and I'd do anything to be away from this damn summer!
no subject
Well, extreme warmth will likely just make me blind, so, I'll just keep indoors, here, thank you xD
no subject
Gotta love this Oraya, especially!
I'd die of boredom if I stay indoors for more than a day! What do you mean, make you blind? You're photophobic?
no subject
I can entertain myself indoors just fine xD
You know I suffer from chronic headache, and that I'm extremely affected by the weather (hot and cold), right? So, sometimes when my headache escalates, it's so painful that I can't see, like, grey just enters my vision. Those times, I can't do anything but stay under covers.

And this Oraya, so cool! *throws ♥s*
Wow, you're pretty tough then, I thought my photophobic was a pain in the ass, but it's child's play compared to your problem... take care of yourself, dear! ♥
no subject
Rather than tough, I just think that humans are amazing at adapting. It sounds horrible to say that you get used to pain, but that's just how it is.

When my doc said I had photophobia, he told me to stay at home as much as possible, because ray lights would damage my eye-sight and blah, blah, blah. He wanted me to lock myself in my house, WTF!? I never liked to wear sunglasses, but now I'm quite comfortable with them and at least, I get to go outside without major problems!

But as I always say; my body may be weak, but I am not. That's just how life is.

*tons of ♥s to you*

I hope you feel better with the cold. Take some of the heat from my country =D There's no cold here at all ;_;
